How we are paid
On receiving an enquiry we will arrange a meeting, to establish whether we can assist with your needs and objectives and also to discuss what our fees for advice would be, if we are instructed to proceed. There is no charge for this preliminary meeting and no obligation on either side.
Our fees are deliberately low because we want everyone to have access to sound financial advice.
If we agree to proceed and you are still of working age, we will need to research your circumstances, needs and objectives and undertake a review of your existing financial arrangements, which we will normally do for a pre-agreed flat fee.
Then if, following our report, you decide to go ahead, our charge will normally be 0.5% of the funds invested for each year in which we advise you. This may be paid by you directly or by deduction from your investments.
If you are approaching retirement and want us to advise on the best annuity for you, our fee will be 1.5% of the value of your fund to be annuitised.
We will always discuss payment methods and agree amounts with our clients before beginning work and no charges for fees will be made without prior notification in writing.
Further information on our terms of business can be found on the "Legal Information" page.
